Nice composition and colors. I really like the sweeping strokes. However, I don't like that particular pattern on the bird. I think it's a bit too big. It might also work better if it were just on the white and not the wing too.

Agree 100% with above. Very good altogether.

I really like the colors of this. As with the last one, i think the texture overlay is a bit too much. However, i think it would work better on this one if the texture curved with the form of the bird.

a very uniquely patterned Whitebreasted Nuthatch really lovely colors and stroke work!
a personal preference thot is that the hard-lined edge of colors in the upper left (apart from the nuthatch) could be a little softer or more ragged like the other edges

also, a nuthatch has a very specific profile and movement; the position you have it in on the perch is unnatural. these birds are creepers, creeping sideways, or head-first downward on tree trunks. they do not sit on a perch like a sparrow or finch, but would have a more level profile. take a look at them in bird books or somewhere online
